Overview
Christian, well-off of a certain age, lives alone in a house between the moors and the sea on the Sardinian coast, she loved dearly by Ghiana, a peasant married. The arrival in the farmhouse near the young and charming Sara, who takes care of the mentally ill husband, upsets the life of Christian and his relationship with Ghiana, arousing in him love and anguish.

Derived from a little-known novel by Grazia Deledda, the film Ernesto Guide carefully follows the story of a man who retired in solitude and" forced "by the circumstances of life to compete again with the others up to discover in it new responsibilities. story of a lonely and anagram more lives intertwined and separate the film confirms the good qualities of directing Guide and skill intrepretativa Giulio Bosetti, an actor that Italian cinema does not hurt to overlook.
