Overview

Masked Ward delivers an engaging mystery-thriller set within the confined walls of a hospital, where a hostage crisis unravels hidden truths and emotional scars. While the buildup and plot twists are intriguing, the film’s resolution falls short of its gripping setup, leaving some key revelations underwhelming. Despite uneven performances, especially from Hitomi, the film still offers a thought-provoking narrative on trauma, trust, and the weight of past promises.
